LMS: Research Facility

The Lincoln Memorial Shrine is organized to promote and encourage the study, understanding, preservation and appreciation of Abraham Lincoln and American history during the Civil War period for scholars, students and researchers. If you would like to visit the Lincoln Memorial Shrine for research purposes, please contact Don McCue, Curator at 909-798-7632 or visit the Heritage Room of A.K. Smiley Public Library. The Heritage Room hours are from 9 am – noon and 1 pm to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Two hundred years after his birth, the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln continues to fascinate and inspire. Born into poverty on the edge of an untamed frontier, his rise from obscurity to greatness has become a symbol of the universal hope that we can all improve our circumstances in life.
