Who We Are: The Inland Empire Civil War Round Table (IECWRT) is a non-profit organization open to anyone interested in the American Civil War 1861-65. Founded in 1987, the Round Table is both a setting for formal talks and a forum for informal discussion of topics related to the Civil War. We meet the second Wednesday of each month (except February, July, and August) from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Lincoln Shrine. The Round Table also publishes a monthly newsletter, The Hardtack.
Getting Here: The Lincoln Shrine is located at 125 W. Vine St. in Redlands, California, in Smiley Park, south of Smiley Library.
From Los Angeles: Take the 10 Freeway East towards San Bernardino. Approximately 10 miles East of the 215 Freeway interchange, take the Orange/Eureka St. exit. Turn Right off the exit ramp, onto Eureka St. Turn Left on Vine Street. The Lincoln Shrine is located behind A.K. Smiley Library.
From Orange County: Take the 91 Freeway North towards Riverside. In Riverside, merge into the 215 North towards San Bernardino. In San Bernardino, take the 10 Freeway East toward Redlands and follow the directions above.
From San Diego: Take the 15 Freeway North, then the 215 North towards Riverside. Follow the directions above.
From Palm Springs: Take the 10 Freeway West. Take the Sixth St. exit, turn Left off the exit ramp. Turn Right on Citrus Ave., then Left on Fourth St. and Right on Vine St. The Lincoln Shrine is located behind A.K. Smiley Library.
